About the Client:

Our client is a rapidly expanding multi-disciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists and counsellors. You will be offered a supportive environment that will strive to provide you with flexibility, work life balance and career progression. 

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Psychologist to join a multi- disciplinary community NDIS provider in Sydney.

In this role, you will have a varied caseload and use your expertise to apply person centered interventions to help individuals overcome their  difficulties. Your therapy sessions will take a collaborative approach across the support team including counsellors, parents, teachers, and other health professionals. 
You will be required to conduct detailed standardised assessment and reports and provide evidence-based psychological treatment.  Intervention predominantly occurs at the clients home, school or workplace, however there is also the option of clinic based treatment.

Open to full-time and part time applicants.

About You:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology and AHPRA registration
  • Fully registered Psychologist (desired)
  • 2+ years clinical experience
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities or other health conditions (desired)
  • Ability to implement interventions for a wide range of issues including ADHD, anxiety, personality and mood disorders, trauma, family conflict etc. 
  • Willingness to support the MDT
  • Strong communication and report writing skills 
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team player
  • Highly organised and reliable
  • Friendly and empathetic personality 
  • Knowledge of school system and funding schemes including NDIS, Medicare, TAC and DHHS. 
  • Working with Children Check and Police Check
