Our client is a specialist in complex home modifications and assistive technology. Their passionate team of Occupational Therapists work hard to help their clients improve their mobility, access the community, and regain their overall independence.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Clinical Excellence Lead Occupational Therapist to take on a community-based role based in Melbourne.
Provide quality services to clients, both in the home and within community networks, and work closely with the community team, including the plan and support managers and Therapists. Observe clients perform certain activities to evaluate their condition and needs, and develop a suitable and realistic treatment plan.
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality, person-centered OT services to clients' and families
- Lead business related continuous improvement activities
- Provide clinical supervision and training to therapists, coach the team and take the lead in the development of staff training and development plans, in accordance with the career pathways framework proactively
- Support the leadership team with managing team performance of efficient, effective, and consistent delivery of clinical services to maximise client outcomes, client and referrer satisfaction and meet agreed business KPI’s
-Provide high quality customer service to clients and external stakeholders
- Maintain a small clinical caseload

About You:
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- A minimum of 6 years' experience (desired)
- Experience with NDIS, home modifications and assistive technology (required)
- Demonstrated ability in people management and relationship building
- Experience in leading and mentoring a striving team
- Highly organised and excellent time management skills
- A passion and drive to make a difference in this specalised OT service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Staff recruitment, retention and training experience
- Excellent attention to detail and quality management
- Enthusiasm to grow and expand your teams knowledge and skill set
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, OT drawing programs, client
management software
- Current drivers licence
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
