ATSA Independent Living Expo, Adelaide


ATSA Independent Living Expo is coming to Adelaide for the first time this March. Visit the two-day event, being hold on 6-7th March, at Adelaide Showground and you can experience a showcase of Assistive Technology and solutions. Explore products and services catering to every daily living need and find comprehensive solutions all under one roof.

The expo and education sessions are all free to attend. The three track education program includes sessions about the latest technology in eye gaze, consumer assistive technologies and AI: a benefit or a curse? increasing independence of young people with spasticity, plenty on optimising wheelchair set ups, using equipment, Improving AT outcomes, pressure care, safe travel options and a session on the benefits of wheelchair sport.

ATSA is excited to also be offering a Sports Zone in Adelaide. Join SANFL, Table Tennis SA, Tennis SA, Wheelchair Basketball SA and Wheelchair Rugby SA for a mix of demo and ‘have a go’ sessions. Come and chat to representatives from the sporting groups and learn more about what options these sports offer for you or your clients.

On Wednesday 6th March join our first World Record Attempt, starting from seminar room 1 at approx. 345pm join Wayne McNarama as he leads a wheelchair conga line in an attempt to break the current world record.
